I knew it would happen eventually but was still hoping it never would. Toddler and I caught COVID 😒. Fortunately mild symptoms only (fever, malaise, cough, no SOB) and now both basically back to normal. But still testing positive 10 days after first symptoms!

- Threshold to stop isolation?
- Are other employers requiring negative test prior to return to work?

Such mixed feelings about CDC as it would have had me back at work when still testing very positive.

@Geripcmd Lab scientist here. You're gonna test positive on antigen tests for up to a few weeks. For PCR tests, it could be 90+ days. So it's not necessarily a bad sign you're testing positive, but... I don't agree with the CDC's back to work policies.

I agree with the 10 day symptom free window. Not everyone can get that from their employer (I know I can't) so what my heart and my infectious disease parts want aren't gonna happen. :blobcatsick: Wear a good mask. Lament the world.

@War_Kittens I so appreciate your chiming in and love your take. 10 day symptom free makes a lot of sense. This pandemic has truly been a very drawn out exercise in lamenting the world sigh
