I'd be remiss if I didn't point out that this completely empty office located in the S’Park neighborhood of central Boulder, which had no rent paid on it for a year before the occupant was evicted, is over 65,000 square feet - nearly double the 36,000 square feet of the Walnut office and the equivalent of 80 apartments.
Boulder, Colorado is rated #7 for most expensive home prices in the country.
So there sat this new building. Just this huge, cavernous waste of money, a monument to a corporate unwillingness to change course in the light of new information. Countless intentionally designed art installations from who knows how many local artists, all for an audience of nobody. The engineering areas filled with hundreds and hundreds of dual monitor setups connected to exactly zero computers. A brand spanking new, modern constructed abandoned ghost building.
I want to expand more on the comedy of errors that led to the eviction of Twitter from their Boulder office.
The story that leads up to this building even existing is hilarious, so here goes...
Do vaccines work?
Yes.
I win the debate with science.

This is such BS. Supporting @RobertKennedyJr@twitter.com does not make you an "independent thinker." It's just a choice. A choice to support someone who has spent years trying to convince people not to take vaccines that have saved millions of lives.
So, USPS is saying stop paying your bills?
"Check fraud has gotten so rampant that postal officials are warning Americans to avoid mailing checks
Banks issued roughly 680,000 reports of check fraud last year. That’s up from 350,000 reports in 2021."
Never been a better time for USPS to adopt a new business model.
Unbelievable this guy got a TS clearance, or any clearance. Seriously, is the USG bureaucracy so bad now that if you just fill out the SF-86 they hand you TS clearance, no questions asked?

Like, this was a thing that ACTUALLY HAPPENED. Why wouldn't you include it?

MEAT LOAF: I don't give a shit who you are, you're going in the moat.

Incredible reporting by @lorenzofb:
Hackers said they had access to AT&T's internal network, which allowed them to break into customers' email accounts and steal their cryptocurrency.
Two victims confirmed they were hacked. One of them had $134,000 from his Coinbase account.
AT&T said it's reset some customers' passwords as a "precaution," and "updated our security controls to prevent this activity."
This Man’s Conviction Was Overturned After Two Years in Prison. But the City Said He Didn’t Deserve a Dime.

A jury found #NYC liable for #NYPD rights violations in a case city lawyers fought for years. Critics say the hardball approach helps perpetuate a cycle of #police misconduct.
The judge said that in her 22 years on the bench, she’d never seen documentation of the city’s constitutional failures “like the evidence I’ve heard in this case.”
Realised I've never shared Napoleon the feral kitty's story here, so here we go.
This is Napoleon, and this is the story of his nine-month journey from a hungry, desperate feral street cat to snuggly duvet monster. /1 🧵 #cats
This #NotMyCat story makes me want to share the tail of "Black Cat" 🐈⬛.
Black Cat has been around us for years. He roams the forest, sleeps in our wood-storage (and when the weather is nice, on the #chicken coop).
For years I've been trying to convince Black Cat that I'm his friend. I've fed him premium Aldi #cat food, left the garage open when it was -15C, leave out water in summer etc
He still runs off the moment he sees me.
Anyway. Black Cat is a dick. I ❤️ him.
With respect to the #SpaceX launch, there were some key successes, such as leaving the pad and getting past #MaxQ. One key failure was fairly visible and obvious, but less obvious was the failure of the launch pad itself. The ground was heavily excavated by the rocket thrust, which launched a huge plume of dust over the surrounding community which then “snowed” on people, and I suspect will be the issue that creates the most delay for the next test flight. #Starship
