Use-it-or-lose-it flexible spending accounts are a horrible piece of policy. They should be banned rather than being blessed.

But yeah, every time I look at healthcare plans it makes me mad what a public policy disaster this all is. Just like give everyone health care.
401k and IRA are also horrific policy, don't even get me started!
@acjay yea I mean I CAN but… it’s just annoying, and it’s always the cheapest plan offered by an employer, which means people with LESS liquidity are incentivized to used it, meaning they generally can’t leverage it
@acjay trying to decide between HSA vs PPO this week and I just hate all of this. “Oh you can do tax advantaged investment if you just save all your receipts for 2 years” rufkmrn
