Very much agree with you that this article should be promoted. We are in a kind of crazy dream right now where Biden's minor gaffs have become the subject, while shear lunacy parades around naked screaming. How we got here is really astounding.
The NY Times doesn't appear to consider the call for the end of democracy at CPAC newsworthy.
I'm scrolling through @atrupar's and Acyn's video clips of #Trump's vile spew at CPAC, now in its 2nd hour..
Sorry to be redundant, but if Biden said even ONE thing in any of those clips, it would be over for him.
Yet Trump has duped The News & all too many voters into accepting him "as is."
I don't. At all. And I am not laughing at him. He's lethal. He's toxic. He's malignant.
And the GOP Fascist Party is right there with him.
We MUST do everything we can to end this nightmare.
Steven Beschloss asks,
"Why is the press attacking Biden and soft-pedaling Trump?"
The question is, in and of itself, important to ask and to lead with when many of us refuse to admit that this is even happening — and prefer to pretend otherwise.
Many of us prefer to pretend that life under a man who has proclaimed his intent to be a dictator won't be so bad after all — at least, not for us and our kind.

The most corrupt Supreme Court justice in memory, Clarence Thomas, asked the first question in today's oral arguments about Colorado's decision to remove Trump from the 2024 ballot.
Thomas' wife was an active participant in the attempt to overthrow the 2020 election results.
Corruption doesn't get any more plain than that.
I watched/listened to major TV "news" show coverage, and you will be unsurprised to know that I didn't hear even a single mention of this.
One of the biggest problems with the phrase "artificial intelligence" is that decades of criti-hyping sci-fi has endowed it with the meaning "simulated mind". But human technology is no closer to creating that than we were in the 1950s. As AI experts like #DavidChapman tirelessly point out, humans haven't even developed a philosophy of mind accurate enough to tell us what a simulated mind would be simulating.

This is actually a decent headline. And something we need to ensure gets across to every voter.
Senate Republicans threaten to block border security bill they negotiated
I may be wrong, but I think the current political state of the US Border issue is:
GOP: The Border is a catastrophe! We must act!
Administration: How about if we..
GOP: NO!
Administration: Perhaps we could..
GOP: NO!
Administration: Could we just..
GOP: NO!
Administration:
GOP: And now we’re going to impeach you for not doing anything.

Trump and Biden are both old.
Trump is a lunatic, rapist, traitor, and wannabe dictator who tried to overthrow the government to stay in power and can’t distinguish fantasy from reality and revels in inflicting cruelty on other humans.
Joe Biden is a middle of the road politician who despite his many flaws on the whole ACTUALLY has done good things for America and especially American workers.
Voting for Joe Biden over Trump is literally the easiest choice in my lifetime. #biden #trump
When I use generative "AI" it invariably contains mistakes. That's just reality at the moment.
So when I see company after company adding AI to every product in sight, I now assume that all of those products are "creating" flawed results.
This is crazy. (Google search is, maybe not coincidentally, crappier than ever.)
We need a whole genre of products that don't contain AI. Maybe they, too, are irredeemably flawed, but at least we'll know the mistakes aren't a design decision.
