The key point being that the dissection is in a way that it is immediately obvious to understand your idea/thought/feeling and how you arrived at it at the moment, if you/anyone revisited it in future, and in a way that cannot be corrupted by any biases/assumptions
@akankshay58 I was thinking about this regarding the inability of ChatGPT to cite its sources, so when do you really know it’s “stealing an idea” from some copyrighted material?. But how often scientists know something is truly original and not derivative in anyway is still unclear to me, even with all the effort we put into good citation practices…
For eg, in the last few days,
