Right on the windshield of our car, this past summer. The male is indeed tiny. Crummy photo, was as spontaneous and unplanned as it gets: at a traffic light!

@debivort At the right season, indeed, "everywhere you look around" ... literally, the fields of Cambridge are covered in Lasius queens, with or already without wings, by the end of June.
