@thor fish can't climb trees, giraffes can't swim. People are very different, not everyone can perform at the same things equally well. Pretending that people have the same potential and are just divided by interests, motivation and will power is a big fat lie being upheld by society that does much more harm than good. A lesson most people with #adhd and other "divergences" learn from life experience.
Not ignoring differences solves #discrimination, but accepting and accommodating them.
For me, the worst part of #adhd "waiting mode" is the 5-10 minutes before a scheduled meeting/event. I can't start anything new or interesting, lest I forget about what I have to do, but doing nothing is the psychological equivalent of listening to modem noise at full volume for minutes on end.
