I've been learning #Django for a programming project and the biggest hurdle I've faced in the process is the way they overload so much common terminology to mean something different.

So far as I can tell, the only terms that mean what they are supposed to is 'model' and 'template'. 'Settings' comes close, but they are actually referring to static app configuration and not user modifiable settings.

And using the term 'app' for what is clearly a 'library'? That's just dumb.

#WTF #Python

@jackwilliambell a Django app is not the same as a library.
