$%&@# AT&T. I struggled for a long time with how to cancel the AT&T Next Up add-on (pay $6/mo to only have to pay off half your phone before upgrade), WHICH WE DID NOT ASK FOR, NOR WERE WE ASKED, on the A&T& website. I finally figured it out with some web searching. Apparently you can now only do it with the MyAT&T App.

The same AT&T store also signed my fiancee up for phone insurance, again without asking. They had previously signed up my daughter for both, without asking, again. The year 2005 called, and they'd like their illegal slamming technique back.

Of course, when you call the store, they say they can't fix it, requiring either a visit or to wait on hold with the AT&T mothership. Half my problem is that AT&T makes it so hard to find and cancel an add-on, but I mostly blame crappy franchise/licensee store employees.

I'm strongly considering a BBB complaint. I'm really tired of this.
