Been following this for a while. Thought I would share it here.
@vanillaos, It seems like you are trying to reduce the partition size from 20GB to 10GB for each of the A and B root partitions.
Why not check out BTRFS snapshots, though it might be similar to the implementation of openSUSE's microOS?
But I think BTRFS snapshots are much more efficient.
You can also make it read-only in your case.
My default OS is Garuda Linux, which implements BTRFS' snapshot capabilities and it makes the arch experience rock solid stable!
And this distro was literally what stopped my distro hopping (its selling point- BTRFS snapshots).
I think you should check it out.
Latte dock has been a core part of KDE plasma's customisation for the past several years and every linux ricer's dream come true.
But recently, its creator stepped down from his role as its sole lead developer, and ever since, contributions to the project have declined and is not being maintained enough to work with the latest kde builds.
https://www.phoronix.com/news/Latte-Dock-Ends
We really need to prevent this fantastic project from dying. Somebody needs to come forward to maintain it for the coming years and for artists to keep producing marvellous kde desktops.

Please boost this post to reach as many developers as possible.
Best Regards
Austin

As people of the open ActivityPub network, I think we should convince other open-source projects/services like Minds & Ripledd to adopt ActivityPub,
so that we can grow as a bigger network of interoperable services.
In my opinion, all open-source social network services should be within this ActivityPub open decentralised standard so that we are not fragmented among ourselves and have a better chance to compete with the proprietary centralised capitalist social media giants and become global standards.

If you are #NewToMastodon as part of #TwitterMigration #Twexit, be cautious about wishing Mastadon would work just like your previous service did. Give yourself time to learn the new tool. Differences can be a good thing! And why would you want a re-creation of the thing you just left anyway?
