@empiricism this seems true for a lot of issues, not only racism. If people weren't ignorant but educated about an issue, it wouldn't be an issue anymore.

It's good to know that, because change first happens on the personal level.

What I'd be interested in is your opinion on how someone could do more than update their own beliefs, but actually help lessen ignorance in others.
