The difference in feeling today is
Twitter: people saying everything while on the move or stuck in some establishment
Mastodon: sitting at a computer, taking a gentle break from work to write out a little philosophy
Pretty sure the majority of twitter users don't own a desktop and haven't touched a desktop in 8 years
