Can anyone here recommend a free/open-source/federated alternative to Zoom?
In Birdland right now, people are offering up tepid "solutions" to the problem of "Zoombombing" and their data harvesting — when the ideal solution would be to STOP USING ZOOM, FOR CHRIST'S SAKE.

@markosaric Lookit it up and doing a bit of reading now... I see the client is only available via places like App Store, Google Play and F-Droid.
Is it available at all as a "traditional" one-click direct download? Is it available as a standard desktop/laptop client?
I assume the logos in this bar represent people who use it?

@flugennock that i'm not sure about. i use it in browser on laptop and on the app from f-droid on mobile
@markosaric @flugennock Jitsi indeed doesn't have a Desktop client and is only usable from the browser or the mobile app.
