An explosion occurred at the Moscow residential complex “Red Sails” on Aviatsionnaya Street. A homemade explosive device detonated in the building’s entrance. The Telegram channel “112” reported that it was a grenade explosion. The device detonated as a man with his bodyguards entered the building. The founder of the "Arbat" battalion and president of the so-called DNR Boxing Federation, Armen Sarkisyan, was severely wounded. Ukrainian media describe him as a criminal authority, close to Yanukovych.
Last night, Ukrainian drones struck the Astrakhan Gas Processing Plant. This plant, owned by Gazprom, is the main gas supplier for the Astrakhan region and the North Caucasus republics. Governor Igor Babushkin confirmed the attack on “energy infrastructure facilities” and a fire that broke out. Additionally, a Lukoil refinery in the Volgograd region was also attacked.
After a series of explosions in several districts of Volgograd, power went out for hours. Governor Andrey Bocharov reported that the "local fires" at the oil refinery were “quickly contained.”
The Russian Ministry of Defense reported the interception of 70 drones overnight. Air defense allegedly shot down drones in the regions of Rostov, Volgograd, Astrakhan, Voronezh, Belgorod, and Kursk.
The Minister for Youth Affairs and Social Communications of Yakutia, Pyotr Shamaev, was seriously injured in the war.
A Lux Express bus, carrying passengers from Tallinn to Saint Petersburg, collided with a snowplow. Two people died, and 13 were hospitalized.
A boiler room worker in the Irkutsk region sold his horse to take his child to the hospital. He shared this in a video addressed to local residents, asking the head of the Investigative Committee, Bastrykin, to address the unpaid wages that have been delayed since last October.
