@marcoarment @overcastfm Have you considered renaming the feature to something like ‘Smart Autodelete’? You could have an aggressive/normal/off toggle with some different values in the logic. No longer has such a fixed expectation in the users mind as to how many episodes it keeps/deletes, so maybe removes some of the feeling that it isn’t doing what you expect. You could also have the world’s smallest ML model to determine if you should delete an episode and then you could say your app has AI!
@Steveb - in his defence, the longer clip shows him being told to do it this way for some specific reason.
@atpfm #askatp - if the ultimate AR use case is having someone’s name above their head when you go to a party or seeing being part of some ‘life stream’ experience, how does that sit with Apple’s privacy-first approach. e.g., in VisionOS there are are APIs for third part apps to use the cameras or other sensors. You discussed previously some other privacy-first features which also seem counter to these use cases.
@fesshole - you may have lots of data but I bet Google has more, so not surprised that the results work out for you.
@daringfireball rather than trying to blame the algorithm for this photo and double down on it, she should be proud of the creativity and execution.
@faoluin don’t tell @marcoarment
@marcoarment, @gruber. Tight integration with Dithering in Overcast to the extend that you’re completing their sentences for them. Although seems to be a bug as the text is shorter when you expand it through the ‘more’ link.
