Everyone agrees that if sunglasses don't offer UV protection they're terribly damaging to your eyes. Buying knockoffs can be dangerous, go to reputable stores, etc. Is anyone testing the swathes of sunglasses sold on amazon by flight-by-night vendors with all-caps, almost-english names? It doesn't seem like it, and I don't know why. Is there an unspoken consensus to not buy them? Is the issue overblown? Does Amazon have some quality control I'm not aware or?
