We're lucky to have been chose to beta-test the new SQK-RNA004 direct #rnaseq kit by oxford #nanopore, which promises better yields and accuracy than the RNA002 kit that has been around since 2018. First 'burn-in' test on human poly(A) #RNA is looking quite promising
@bjarne that's definitely on the software and R&D side of things. In my opinion, this new chemistry will help as the translocation rate is faster (and thus less 'noise' per nucleotide).
