We're lucky to have been chose to beta-test the new SQK-RNA004 direct #rnaseq kit by oxford #nanopore, which promises better yields and accuracy than the RNA002 kit that has been around since 2018.

@Martinalexsmith Any improvements to base modification detection, or is that all on the software side?

@bjarne that's definitely on the software and R&D side of things. In my opinion, this new chemistry will help as the translocation rate is faster (and thus less 'noise' per nucleotide).
