Oh gosh today’s #florespondence is beyond delightful. It’s beardie season! These are #calochilus genus and they are some of my absolute faves. Look at this little face!

We’ve got Copper Beard (the real gnome-ish ones) and Red Beards here. Cannot capture the iridescence of these beauties.

Just wanted to check in and also let you know that before we said “cheese” for photographs people would say “prunes”! This was because it kept the upper lip stiff and limited the ability to smile which was considered childish and immature!

So if you ever need a perfect-pout say the word “prunes” and the photographer won’t know what hit em! 📸😗
