When I mention that Maisie (my #servicedog) does things that she wasn't necessarily trained to do and people ask for examples I can't always think of one as they're just part of life. But she JUST did something that I decided to share before it blends into the background with all the others.
Last night I lost my tweezers. Pete and I looked everywhere (except wherever they were obviously) and couldn't find them so we gave up. Since Maisie doesn't know the word I didn't bother to ask her to find them. However as I sit here having my coffee she came proudly up to me doing her butt-wiggle, tweezers in her mouth and ready to drop into my hand.
Yeah, it's stuff like that. Her training is extensive and targeted to my needs, but these are the things that, to me, show her true intelligence.
@toffy i'd really be happy if we'd get back such things. "material design" with it's flatness is driving me mad.

The time of mortality coincides with the end of hibernation, and when they wake up they consume massive amounts of honey to start back the hive. And after analysis all sort of chemicals are found in the honey.

Les apiculteurs ont pu constater que les pertes hivernales augmentaient d’année en année, mais aussi que certaines colonies ne se développaient plus, s’affaiblissaient et présentaient un couvain irrégulier, signe que de nombreuses larves avortaient faute de soins ou d’intoxication."

erstmal: super das wir hier sinnvoll miteinander reden!
das problem fängt mmn. aber schon bei den statistiken an. je nachdem wer was wie zählt kommen komplett verschiedene ergebnisse raus. nur beispielhaft, "mit" oder "wegen" covid im krankenhaus.
ferner ist der grund bspw. bei verstorbenen selbst wenn man "will" nur schwer zu ergründen, zumindest ohne obduktion.
der unterschied zum gurt ist, wie hier schon erwähnt: der gurt kommt nach dem fahren ab. die - immernoch experimentelle - mrna impfung bleibt. darüber hinaus mit fragwürdiger wirksamkeit. wir hätten keine gurtpflicht wenn er ständig reissen würde (es gibt gute gründe warum bislang keine impfung gegen erkältungen existierte, u.a. weil sie nicht funktionieren).
zu guter letzt traue ich der sache nicht, wenn ich erst knapp ein jahr diskreditiert werde und ich danach mit juristischen mitteln zu meinem glück gezwungen werden soll. dann vermute ich nicht nur dummheit sondern boshaftigkeit.
ich hab im übrigen auch ein relativ gut gefülltes impfbuch, nur halt mit impfungen die abgehangen und mmn. sinnvoll sind.
