those people weren't all from somewhere else. you've also had people who could make wooden wheels and other wooden instruments in your village, a blacksmith for the horses and so on. industrialization removed the need for this.

That's UTC, so about eight hours ago. That's the first time that box has stayed up more than two months. Gonna file a ticket with the DC, have them reboot it.
I am a paranoid motherfucker, so I will be on the edge of my seat until either the DC reboots it or they send an email that says "feds stole your box lol".

@Some_German_Guy @Elfie i wouldn't agree to everything from those articles, but i think he's 
right in that germany by now is mostly vaporware. we suck at computers, we aren't the best at engineering anymore, and so on. the current german leadership does it's best to kill off anything worthwhile that is still left.
one thing is sure, you can't blame the chinese for this. it's completely self inflicted pain. i kind of hope that germany and europe will just sink into irrelevance - we don't have any natural ressources. that might be a chance to be _left alone_.
