@mangeurdenuage here it's everywhere right now. had to cut down about 2/3 of a red currant i planted because most leaves were absolutely full of it. wine and raspberries are surprisingly resistant though, they seem to shrug it off.
@mangeurdenuage :) i really need to do more comfy posting myself. i regularly get hooked by all the bullshit stuff :/
maybe i should really do a rule "one nice photo a day" or something. there for sure are enough motives for that out in the garden!
saw two yellow ladybugs today, eating mildew from oak leaves. everything is one.

the only way FF could keep any share is by catering to it's userbase, and doubling down on what these people like. everything else is bullshit appeasement to nonexisting people.
it's the same as dumbing down interfaces to make them more easy for the mysterious unicorn user who installed a software on purpose but is expecting the same ui the monopolist has. It doesn't work AND kills the existing user base.
vivaldi does this right imho. it's proprietary, but they don't do one change after another that the users hate.

@DCR it's specifically about this purity spiral phenomen why i wrote about the left only. i don't see this in this way and to this degree with any other group. especially that it's always something new. the current right does things like this as well, but it's limited. maybe they ban books in school libraries in the US etc. they DON'T do things like condemning the stickermule guy for being pro trump and spesking against hate and violence. both camps aren't who i personally like, but the self destructive holier than you thing is pretty unique to the left imho.
