@Hyolobrika@berserker.town idk how your caffeine intake is, but avoid it a few hows before bed.

valerian never did much for me. you might want to try chamomile and/or lemon balm for calming down. catnip also relaxes (from my experience). hops also is relaxing, but you might have to pee more. you could try alcohol-free (or very light) beer for the hops. i'd always go with teas from good herbs now instead of extract-pills. somehow the teas work better for me, even if they aren't as concentrated.

my insomnia usually was of the kind that i went to sleep but woke up half an hour later. best thing then was to just get up and read a book, maybe drinking one of said teas or an alc free beer. my sleep problems were due to depression and stress, fixing (still at it ;) those problems helped more than anything.

@mangeurdenuage @yes We're basically handing the world to China at this point

@Nyaa@social.linux.pizza remote is the bees knees. alone the time saved by not having to get to the office is nice enough.

and, if that's your thing: imagine the CO2 savings if we remove heating offices and commuting.

there's literally no argument for offices. i never got the "coworkers are my friends" thing. i'm happy if i like them, but basing my social life on coworkers seems ill-advised in terms of work-life balance.

you might use an office as "free training" for IRL social skills. due to hierarchy and competition most office spaces aren't good social environments, though.

Nobody wants war except the billionaire tyrant cunts at the top, and fuckwit westerners who think they’re safe and that somehow the draft won’t come back overnight when it gets out of hand.

is it time to hold american companies accountable for US military actions? i think it is.
@Al_Rex Punishing people for not voting the way you want is peak democracy.

Read Russian media.

Read Western media.

Distrust both.

NATO and US must own up to the errors of the past.

As an European and citizen of a NATO country I oppose this deliberate escalation process.
