Unpleasant reminder that, even if we won right now, so much knowlege has been lost and shall never be regained without great struggle, because it was held by non-literate people who did not have means or cause to commit it to writing. Our cultures were built on a thousand-thousand Dewey-decimal systems, knowledge that to an outsider is arcane, but could be sewn together entirely through observation.

Dedicate yourself to the fulfillment of your values, the production of children, the development and propagation of traditional knowledge, the longer you wait the worse our position gets.

Don't ignore a practice just because of the gender stereo-typically associated with it either. You will have daughters. You will have sons. You need to have at least a working knowledge of how to start them off.
