I was at a ChopChop restaurant earlier this evening. One of their big screens that normally show order numbers and such things instead showed this, revealing that the restaurant uses Raspberry Pi 4 Model B for that.

For some reason seeing that made me happy, I got a feeling that there is hope, or something. 🙂

Oldest Bronze Door (115 AD); still in use in Pantheon, Rome, Italy. This door cast in bronze for Emperor Hadrian (76-138 AD) rebuilding, dated about 115 AD.

This large bronze doors to cella, measuring 4.45m wide by 7.53m high, yet so well balanced they can be pushed or pulled open easily by one person. Each half of double door weighs 8.5 tonnes, and rotates on pins set into floor and architrave above.

DO NOT EDIT.", fuck having to install ed every time, fuck having to *uninstall* nano, fuck the default .bash_logout having `clear` in it and fuck all of Debuntu's defaults, fuck apt again, fuck dpkg, fuck the project's stupid name being a portmanteau of "Debbie" and "Ian", they should have killed the project when they got divorced, fuck `apt-get autoremove`, fuck "Unable to fetch some archives, maybe run apt-get update or try with --fix-missing", fuck "Package is not available but is referred to by another package", fuck "No installation targets", fuck a distro that is so clunky it makes people think Arch is a good idea.
