so Google called me the other day and was rather vague on what they asked me for gathering info about poast. that was fine, poast blocks googles access, at least their access they let people search from.

they said they wanted a half hour of my time and that was it, I told them early April. someone emailed me telling me I had to sign a waiver, nope. I had to be on voice call, fine, I had to desktop share -- absolutely the fuck nope

I brought up to the Google exec that I refuse to share my desktop
"I will warn my users about this"
"that would be really bad for you"

OK

regarding that survey about vaccination status and sanctioning russia:

that's what the governments get for making a solid percentage of the population to outcasts because they don't take experimental (still emergency use) vaccines. you breed contrarians.

putin is not dumb, he knows very well that the west is incredibly vulnerable right now. caught with our pants down.

it would probably have played out nice, in the sense that people would have forgotten the next time voting, with everything back to a kind of normal.

that isn't what happens now though. you can't expect the fresh contrarians you created to happily cheer along with other, unrelated points on your agenda. they will do the opposite, just out of spite.

whatever will happen, nearly every country in the west now has a substantial part of their population which have dropped out of the "democratic system". with no return in sight. the governments will act like trudeau has acted, emergency powers, and will breed more contrarians by this.

i think we will see the west calling gg on the last remains of democracy in the next decade.

One of the only times I've ever played minecraft I found a little island rock which I hollowed out into a living space, where I then raised a single mooshroom. Every day she would produce just enough soup for me to live on and I had only 1 bowl. I would watch the weather and the animals, and make occasional adventures into the forest on the mainland.

I think about that game sometimes
Is there any legitimate evidence that DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion) Committees are actually effective? When I search online all I see is DEI consultants, the ones who profit from DEI committees, answering "yes!!"

Since we have a global financial system in which you must participate in order to earn a living, soft authoritarians are using this new power: the ability to delete you, deplatform you, and cancel you with financial influence alone.

In theory; We understand that it should work, but it doesn't.
In practice; It works, but we don't understand why.
So here we combine Theory and Practice; It doesn't work, and we don't understand why.

The fucking dumb shit that forum nazis and woke retards try to reframe as being about race never ceases to amaze me.

Daily Mail in the UK is claiming that WhatsApp can be easily hacked and is essentially insecure, and banning military use, while recommending Signal instead.

Meanwhile the #onlinesafetybill promises to make them all unsafe to use.
