The more stable form acts as a seed crystal for the less stable form, and once this happens it creates a cascading effect, in which people who have ever worked with the stable form can contaminate an entire factory/lab and make it unable to reproduce the earlier form.

Hab ihr auch mitbekommen, dass es mal ne Zeit in Deutschland gab, da haben große Teile der Bevölkerung unglaublich absurden, schwachsinnigen, widerlichen Quark verzapft, im Brustton der Überzeugung, weils offiziell angesagt und politisch gewollt war? People are asking me why I use runit and why I don't like systemd.

What I answer them? Nothing. I wait for the next systemd thing to wipe their $HOME and get some popcorn, only for them to pop up again weeks later and preach how superior their init system is.

Meanwhile I am using runit for 7+ years and not once had an issue with it breaking my setup.

But I guess it's uncool to have a working system. :shrug:
