Yesterday I replied to a post on the birdsite (where I still go daily) by David Shapiro, who said: "The existential crisis happening in education because of #ChatGPT is kind of ironic to me. School systems around the world are so focused on grading and busy work that they've forgotten the purpose of education: learning." That really resonated with me, and I replied with a link to my recent blog post: crouchingpython.com/chatgpt-lo Visits to my website skyrocketed. But no interaction. Interesting!

Indeed - John Warner wrote: " won't kill anything preserving".

So we applaud our new motivation to return to human interaction and pedagogy. But, does anyone have an idea how that will scale? And what will happen with the marginalized when we realize it doesn't scale?
