Hey I thought I'd share a few of my enormous collection of photographs of Dr. Vinay Prasad wearing masks over the years parody, for no reason satire, so here they are spoof farce lampoon put-on comedy exaggeration of a Constitutionally protected non-legally actionable type

Bit if a long shot, but has anyone in the sound of my voice played Immortality ? I really want to talk to someone about this lunacy.

More hot takes: everyone wants to tell me how much fun it is to write react, but nobody will argue (rightly) that redux is fun, and you can't really have one without the other, so maybe I shouldn't pick my tools based on fun after all.

My current probably-obvious-and-unoriginal hot take developed while talking to @slightlylate: the most successful tools for making websites extend core browser technology instead of replacing it. It's a Yes And approach.

What. An. Asshole.

I created a Google Calendar event in the year 7777 CE, but the start time in the confirmation email is off by an hour from the one in the calendar. I love imagining the heavy sigh from whoever handles this bug report.

You know, I love my job and the ever-expanding task of web development, but some days I really want to quit my job and go do simple event-driven robot coding in a factory or something. Or become a professional mindstorm consultant for rich kids. Real 20 GOTO 10 type stuff.

DeSantis' lawyers were forced by the court to define "woke." The lead lawyer described it as "The belief there are systemic injustices in American society and the need to address them."

My lovelies, do you have any takes in Storybook? I'm thinking it might mix nicely with 11ty but I'd love your takes before I start getting my hands dirty

@ehashman
Yeah, but being in the perfect position to tell disgruntled nerds to get forked is really tempting.

@WeAreMesmerist
The only person on that instance is @epilonious and frankly this all seems quite in order.

@epilonious
Yes, that is not an opinion, outrage content is objectively more engaging, it's been well-scienced.

I think I've seen one? But dozens of complaints. The internet does that to me a lot lately.

@ericwbailey
It's nice to think about, but I don't think it's ever going to be a thing. First, css isn't practically separable from html, so it'll have to be and htmlcss dev, but more importantly we will need to change our engineering practices in a way that stops treating css as damage that needs to be routed around. We can't really live in a world where css engineers exist and tailwind.css is treated like a serious professional product at the same time.

CSS Engineers have always been a thing, just now they might actually get paid for doing it. helloanselm.com/writings/is-cs

While meta has spent 13 billion dollars on getting 35 people into its vr mmo and they still haven't quite invented legs and nobody is sure where all the money was spent.
