tw; southern racist term

Brother and I were talking to our 98 year old father today. We learned that when we lived in Huntsville (early 60's) he worked at Redstone Arsenal.
Our family doctor attended rallies and sit-ins with Dr. Martin Luther King. Dad applied for a job with BIA in Gallup, NM, but the recruiter was concerned that, coming from Alabama, he would have serious racist attitudes that might not make him a good fit.
He said one of his (Huntsville) references tipped the balance when he told the recruiter that Dad wouldn't be a good hire because his family doctor was a G*d D*mn 'n*gger lover'.
He got the job in Gallup.
