RT @JimAloisi@twitter.com: I ask again: Why would we want to even consider variable pricing on the T when we can’t even consider introducing pilot vehicular pricing initiatives in ? We’d be pushing “choice” transit riders to TNCs while promoting unsustainable jobs-killing traffic congestion. twitter.com/adamtvaccaro/statu

The million dollar question, though, is which community to try and focus on? I will put a Mastodon server up, eventually, even in light of understanding the cost to getting the server federated with the rest of the web space for these things, but which other one should I do? Toss up between friendica and Hubzilla, but do we really need either one if the community site is already in the process of getting the same sorts of thints that both can do? After all, are we really going to get rid of facebook and what not in the near future? I don't think so. Looking for places to share existing content, not replace existing endeavours.

One huge problem with technilogical shifts. The entire world is stuck on centralized services at the moment, making it more difficult for communities to form on the federated web. I'm hoping I might be able to change that though, in the not too distant future.
