I think also that the open source community is changing that mindset, or at least in the circles of people from this generation. Can't say as much for the previous one, or at least not from my conversation this morning.

People would do very well to remember that there is more to open source than money. There is more to life than money. I think people forget that, hence criticizing things they shouldn't be.

Possibly silly question for the tech masses up here. Anyone know of a software that allows for resource groups and service control. In other words, stick this person in this resource group, for instance, and they gain access to these services? In the context of virtual machine infrastructure and datacenter automation, I'm talking about here. Something like what System center Virtual Machine Manager would allow for, but much smaller scale, and much less resources to implement?

@kejt it's not just me. Have any idea how important that is? I've got a friend who does that sort of thing all the time, and I think he thinks it's a part of something else. I keep telling him to stop worrying and to accept that it's just him and all of his wonderful qualities.
