@schestowitz It's remarkable you say that. I have a friend who has no intention of going to college. Guess who is interested in her? Dell and Google. I think that in today's day and age, there are only a few select careers that ought to require degrees, all of them in the medical field.
I have to say, I agree with @jdormit@mastodon.technology regarding ActivityPub being something that we need to work with compatibility rather than always making improvements to the protocol. Yet there are always improvements. to be made; hopefully new implementations of the protocol will consider adding all of the features; seems like there are lots of things stipulated by the specification. the problem? Not enough implementations use it, and one implementation is very different from another. So, not only do we need to consider compatibility, but we need to also consider unused features; instead of improving the protocol, actually use what's there, but currently not doing anything ...
