Dang. Ran dism health checks on Andahar. What I found? Error 1392: The directory is corrupted and unreadable. Like that's how I wanted to end my Tuesday night. I should have known it was gonna get worse ... but how'd he get like this, I wonder. Dellfire's still bright, though.

Only problem with the T420 is it weighs about 60 pounds, so dang me if I ever had to move it.
after taking another look ... I'm considering a PowerEdge T420 or the R420. T420 can rack mount as well, which might fit a bit better. only 22 inches, shorter without rack ears.

I'm hoping that after clearing the caches this issue gets resolved. And then ... there's determining the best use of his resources. Keep him a Hyper-V server, or make him a file server and get a smaller rack mount server with fewer drives?
I mention that because for a while, he was connected to a DNS server which cut off internet access when the tunnel failed to pass traffic through.
Well, Looks like I'll be having fun clearing Andahar's update caches this evening when I arrive home ... what's concerning me, though, is why he started failing patching after Jan. 6th? Could it have been resultant from the loss of site-to-site VPN?
