Neither Zuckerberg nor governments should be deciding what happens on the internet. This is a very top-down style of thinking.
He probably by now knows, as the article indicates, that he can't solve the moderation problem without breaking the business model. So he's trying to find ways to externalize that to governments and make it somebody else's problem/cost.

Getting the feeling that someone wants me to listen to this album called #Empath. Like a voice in the back of my mind. 🤔
I seriously hate being on the side of two different angles. Had a friend call me lat week thinking that his issue could be dealt with in a paranormal manner (the Unseelie have been playing Boston and her allies), only to find out that a possible mental issue was left undiagnosed since childhood. And I hope I'm right. Gods above. He seems to be doing all right. I just wish I could do something. All I can do is watch, and ask the spirit patrols to watch over him in return.
