From what I can tell the dominant issues are the same:
-Housing
-Affordability
-Inflation
-Energy
and of course #Trump

The conservatives in both countries represent the #FossilFuels interests and are doing everything they can to discredit alternatives. Its a global effort.

The conservatives in both countries are basically racist misogynistic science denying assholes.

The Liberals in both countries are not terribly popular but are seen as the less bad option.

What we saw after the federal leaders’ debate was disgraceful. Rebel News & other far-right outlets were allowed to dominate the post-debate press. No journalistic standard, just propaganda. This is how democracies erode and how fascism creeps in, like we’re seeing down south with our American counterparts.

We must stand up and demand better from our institutions.
