Open my PC case. There's so much dust that coronavirus might've originated from it. Disassemble my PC. Clea my PC. Assemble my PC. Attach the old hard drive. Close my PC case, which is a cancerous and very annoying process because the case sucks ass. Fire it up. Hear very very very bad sounds of something hitting. Shutdown my PC. Open my PC case again. Remove the said hard drive. Close my PC case again, which is again a cancerous and very annoying process because the case sucks ass. Fire it up again. The sound still persists. Open my PC case once again. After 2 minutes trying to figure out it's origin turns out something got in my chassis fan. Disassemble my PC again. Clean my PC again. Assemble my PC again. Attach the old hard drive again. Close my PC case once again, which is once again a cancerous and very annoying process because the case sucks ass. Fire it up once again.

A (pretty long) while ago my computer was making these weird noises. Turned out a cheap chasis fan somehow had the blades scraping against the case. Ended up throwing some foam tape on it :P

Interestingly, the nosiest component in my computer now seems to be a HGST hard drive. Apparently those are, even under normal conditions, loud as hell.
