@certainlytwice Thing is: I don't use this account very actively. It's kinda just a place for me to throw out random stuff. So I don't tend to think about sharing events info here that often but I'll try (I'll probably fail tho). Thing is: Paris has so much media about what's going on that you just have to google it and you'll get a ton of links for that day with everything from art galleries, art openings, museums, plays, music events, and even street parties in the summer. @certainlytwice (cont) Srsly it's not too hard to find at all. Just try out a few of those links and lemme know how they work for you. And remember the 14th is coming up but my guess is that Paris will have some events be a bit muted bc of the recent problems. We'll see.

@summeremacs yes unfortunately I am not super optimistic 🤔 regarding public #parties during our national day in #paris. Like many we will very likely stick to private events 🥳

@certainlytwice We're still deciding whether or not to go back to Paris or say on the riviera for the festivities. I think we're leaning towards staying a few more days and not going back to Paris for it.

I have been unlucky so far 🤷‍♀️. did you ever meet anybody using such channels during your nightly adventures ?

@certainlytwice Mastodon? No. Twitter. Yes but I pretty much have left there (like many). Instagram, yeah. Just search for nightlife/events in Paris and you'll find stuff on Insta. But keep in mind: a lot of stuff on Instagram is posted during or after the fact. Honestly, it's mostly word of mouth through groups and stuff with me unless, again, you're talking official events and then ofc you can see those in the links I showed you. 🙃 (will reply to other message in a sec)

@summeremacs thank you 😀. I am aware of lists of events posted on the media you are mentioning, my question was really around mastodon. I don't use Insta, twitter or google, only free (as in free speach) media. My friends share to me some info they get from these sources, I was curious to know if you were aware of any #GAFAM-free / decentralized sources of info about #parties or #funevents in #paris 🥳
