#introduction Hi there! My name is Clément, I am an evolutionary biologist interested in #transposons (Jumping Genes 🧬➰🧬) !
#transposons are really cool! They turn Cabernet 🍷 into Chardonnay, protect us from viruses 👾and also give their nice smell to roses🌹!
I really like to pretend I'm doing bioinformatics by playing Lego with software and making pipelines and methods for #transposon analysis and annotation. Here are some of them:

A proper #introduction. I'm Camille, a French researcher in #algorithmicbioinformatics . I work on methods for sequencing data analysis (often large scale). Based in CRIStAL lab/Bonsai team in Lille, France.
I am not a CS person in the 1st place as I come from a bioinformatics MSc, so still learning everyday.
I teach and working with undergrads and PhD students is a great source of joy.
I will also soon be a mother of 2. Thus interested in #womeninscience #womeninstem discussions.
