When I’ve given Chat GPT a complex coding problem to solve, then it can mess up the details, but when I have a clear algorithm in mind and I want it implemented in a specific language, then it has done a decent job with the tedious parts.

It also can make incremental changes to the algorithm.

So maybe, if this stays free, computer science teachers can start teaching algorithms instead of teaching how to code in specific programming languages?
