I have a theory that Chinese product names in that Romanized Chinglish is a lowkey effort to subvert English writ large.
My e-bike is an Otiamlar.
They put the weirdest consonants together like it's no big.

Icons are made up on the spot, and few correctly guess their meaning. Why not use an existing system of ideograms that is 1000s of years old? The learning curve is no different that the current icons (all different on different software).
