@foone @mos_8502 I agree wholeheartedly. And by the way, I was never huge fan of VB

My Commodore 64 Mastodon client is up on GitHub. I’ve tested it the best I can with the amount of time I’ve had between work and school. Hopefully I found most of the bugs. I’d love any feedback. There are already a few things I want to recode and a few more features to add. I’m not a professional programmer and learned the Mastodon API as I went, so if anyone has suggestions they are welcome. Enjoy! #Commodore64 #C64

@grumpygamer "The difference a computer can make in a person's life is positively scary."

Today during Office Hours Video! we discussed some pretty fundamental topics:

- How to deal with scope creep and "Too Much to Do" (and where all this #lightweight/#agile stuff came from)
- Consensus- and Consent-based decision-making approaches
- The feeling of Immeasurability and how that makes one's job position feel insecure

I really like the opportunity to Get Back to Basics, as it were.

@mrnugget Hi Thorsten. I am playing around with the idea of buying a StarBook. How was your experience do far? Do you have a AMD or Intel CPU?

Monochrome Kung-Fu-Flash have been popular this week. Hence I've had to make a quick top up batch before I get my head down.

I have a lot of GitHub notifications to catch up on, and today's the day I start making a dent in them again. And I figured I may as well stream it. So, if you're curious about open-source maintenance work, come join me as I work through them! Starting in ~15m.

Writing a d81 disk image to a real 1581 connected to a #C64 via ethernet (RRNet Mk3) sure takes a while... Still, good way to do it. Looking forward to trying the new VDC Mode Mania v1.2 demo later tonight on my #C128D :-)

Not just "seem to exist"

College used to be cheap. Then Roger Freeman (worked for Nixon and Reagan) said

“We are in danger of producing an educated proletariat. … That’s dynamite! We have to be selective on who we allow [to go to college].”

Reagan agreed. So they changed state college tuition structure to what it is today. And now here we are. 🤷🏿‍♂️
