Advantage/disadvantage is a powerful mechanics of the recent editions of #DnD. You are rolling a 20-faced die, and try to get a score higher than a certain threshold. If you have "advantage" you roll twice and take the highest value. If you have "disadvantage" you roll twice and take the lowest.

@j_bertolotti It's a D&D-ish game, in which the enemies are given some IA, which makes a master unnecessary. This makes the game completely cooperative ("PvE"), and even feasible for a single player
