We got some bad news today. Our 7 yr old Pippa has bone cancer and unfortunately it spread to her lungs. Leg amputation and aggressive chemo early on could not stop it. is very bitter. We’ll be with Pippa to the end. We’ll spend the next weeks doing fun things, serving lots of grilled steak, and the rest of our lives, cherishing this brave little girl. :-(

Pippa update: Pippa is now receiving oral chemo. There is no chance of curing the cancer, just slowing the spread. She‘ll get this until she suffers substantial quality of life degradation: breathing issues. Hopefully there will be minimal side effects. This is much stronger that what she had before. If the meds themselves are too nasty, we‘ll have to stop them. Brave Pippa. She did her usual walk around the block early this morning.
