Hello people of the Fediverse! Some of you may have heard that a new Mastodon client, Ivory,  is in development for iOS (and Mac!). This is true! Tapbots is going all in on Mastodon and we hope this place continues to grow and thrive. Tweetbot will continue to be developed alongside Ivory as a lot of code is shared. A new Mac version of Tweetbot and Ivory are also currently in development and we are working hard on getting those towards a public beta state.

Today’s social media status quo isn’t cutting it, so Mozilla is exploring an alternative here on Mastodon. In early 2023, Mozilla will be testing a publicly accessible instance in the Fediverse at Mozilla.Social. We will keep you updated, but for now learn more here: mzl.la/3BNXQMQ

That same semester, a grader for our Quantum Mechanics class told a different student (who submitted really long homework papers) "you aren't writing the Magna Carta."

That student turned in his next homework on a handmade "Magna Quanta."

The students in my upper-level electrodynamics course are taking their final exam right now, which always reminds me of the time I told my students they could bring a formula sheet to the final exam as long as it was on one side of a piece of paper.
