G’day Folks,
SUBJECT: Is censorship the new ‘propaganda’?
Though I have had no problems with the FB mob thus far, the Twitter gatekeepers it seems are of the view I have broken their rules of engagement. I have now been suspended for over two weeks. I have not knowingly broken the rules. As many of you would know my recent essay on Israel did not pull any punches. I can only assume it was because of this post, which I sent to all those in my Twitter network. My suspension occurred within days of me dispatching the Tweet. Despite two appeals, they have refused to reactivate my account. They also refuse to tell me why they suspended my account, and when I might expect it to be reactivated. Can any Twitter users advise me if they’ve experienced similar frustrations, and how it was resolved, if at all? Hard not to view this as blatant censorship. Is censorship the new propaganda? Is this where we’re heading?
