Il fondo sovrano tedesco ha deciso di finanziare il progetto Activitypub Test Suite

ActivityPub Test Suite è un importante progetto che istituisce una solida suite di test per il protocollo ActivityPub , una componente fondamentale del panorama dei social network decentralizzati noto come Fediverso.

Tra gli obiettivi previsti:

- Sviluppare e implementare un sistema completo di test di conformità del server per il protocollo ActivityPub.
- Creare una guida all'implementazione accessibile e un tutorial per il test automatizzato delle implementazioni conformi di ActivityPub.
- Garantire che la suite di test funga da punto di riferimento fondamentale, favorendo la fiducia degli sviluppatori nella creazione di applicazioni interoperabili.

L'#ANVUR ha aggiornato il suo regolamento sulle riviste rendendo ammissibile anche la revisione paritaria aperta. Ma il problema è molto più la presenza del regolamento che quello che che c'è scritto dentro. Lo spiega @aisa qui;

We talk a lot about how research is evaluated. But we do not always ask who is entitled to evaluate research and what is the legitimacy (even from the perspective of #openscience) of a system in which evaluation is in the hands of bureaucrats, or government-appointed researchers acting with bureaucratic power. The origin of the question is Italian, but its scope is global.
