@ech @soliman @AlSweigart I also can't speak for Nancy, but fully agree with both (and did before and after hearing specifics about the shooter's background). The party the shooter identified with doesn't affect the substance. In fact she may not be aware of this but Utah *still has* the death penalty and I believe this case would be a good time to use it. That doesn't preclude praying for evil, lost individuals who have committed heinous crimes — irrespective of their political identification.
