Both chambers of the Michigan legislature voted to pass a bill repealing the state's right-to-work law.

Governor Gretchen Whitmer plans to sign it, making Michigan the first state in nearly 60 years to ditch one of these anti-union laws.

This is a big deal.

Outrage over the massive oil-drilling #WillowProject in Alaska has focused on the climate impacts and the critical need to stop all new fossil-fuel projects.
But just as relevant: the US doesn't need the oil to be energy "independent." The US is already a net EXPORTER of oil.
