Out in a single scull for the first time today and was so tense that I got tired very quickly (my MS makes me a bit prone to this anyway). The good news is that I stayed dry. Tell me this gets easier? #rowing #sculling #MS

@swisslet you usually stay dry at the beginning. This is when you start relaxing a bit that you end up in water 🙃But this is nothing to fear (unless you are rowing on a difficult river which you should not if you are a beginner).Try to think about what you would do if it happens, thinking and rationalizing will help a lot. Do you know how to get back in ? To your question it will get easier indeed. Just keep practicing !

@fcorow173 I swim in a lake all year round, so it’s not really the cold water immersion that worries me! I’m going to persist and look forward to cracking it. Thank you for your advice. I’m doing some capsize drills in a leisure centre next week which I hope will help too.
