Seems like an #introduction could be an appropriate start here.
I am a senior lecturer in quantum physics at the University of Sussex (UK).
My research interests encompass both fundamental and applied quantum physics. I am involved in various research projects in ultracold atoms, including the fundamental studies of low-dimensional quantum gases. On the more applied side, I am working on the development of various quantum sensors, such as quantum magnetometers, for use in navigation, healthcare and electric vehicle battery characterisation and diagnostics.
Teaching-wise, I am the course director of the MSc in Quantum Technology Applications and Management and convene the Modern Physics module in our Foundation Year.
I am looking into how to teach Quantum Physics to non-physicists (but with appropriate maths skills). So please give me a shout if you find interesting material.
